We are delighted to announce our collaboration with enoAula. With an innovative, ever-evolving and constantly updated range of training courses, enoAula is the perfect place to continue learning post-WSET or before you take the next step on the WSET ladder. Our partnership will mean all students who have completed a WSET course with Wine Courses Barcelona will be able to enjoy a 10% discount on any enoAula course, seminar or masterclass. And if you’re an enoAula graduate? There’s 10% off WSET at WCB. So for those students who ask: ‘what next? How can I keep learning?’, aproveche!
Who are enoAula?
Xavi Nolla, a top sommelier who went on to work in sales for a number of prestigious Spanish wineries, and his partner Gisela Guitart, a world-class events organiser, joined forces in 2017 to create enoAula. They believe service is the key to a superior restaurant experience and aim to teach students the skills, confidence and knowledge to excel. As their courses are designed (and mostly delivered) by Xavi himself, they are constantly kept up to date and current. Teaching on Priorat already includes the new Paratge classification; lessons on sparkling wine include Corpinnat. Partners such as Riedel, Coravin and Pulltex also contribute specialist teaching to the syllabus. While aimed strongly toward those who work in hospitality, casual wine lovers who want to learn more won’t be disappointed either. All sessions in Barcelona are held at the NH Collection Gran Hotel Calderón on Rambla Catalunya. They also run courses in Palma de Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Málaga. In the future, they plan to be present in Madrid and other major cities.

In addition to courses such as Especialista en Vinos, they also hold seminars and masterclasses on more specialist subjects. The masterclasses are taught by external speakers; recent examples include winemaker Fernando Mora MW, Tastebuds and Molecules author and all-round flavour genius François Chartier and Joël Robuchon’s service maestro Juan Moll. Keep an eye on their social media accounts and website for announcements. In the coming months, you could attend the Especialista en Vinos (30th Sept, 7th & 14th October, details here) or pop some corks during the soon-to-be-announced Champagne masterclass!
