This is a tasting we've wanted to host for a long time, and finally it's here! Portugal is home to an incredibly diverse range of climates, grape varieties, and unique styles. We love it all: from the bracingly acidic whites of Vinho Verde, the aromatic and herbal reds of the Dao, to the fortified wines of Madeira and Carcavelos. Even further afield, we find still and fortified wines produced in the subtropical islands of the Azores. With this wealth of wine culture and diversity, why do so many wine drinkers only associate Portugal with Port? It's a mystery to us, and it's a myth we'll be busting during a night of Portuguese wine love this March!

This WCB Tasting Club event will take place in Bodega Amado, a world-class wine shop in Born owned and run by one of our very own students, Marc Amado.

¡Esta es una cata que hemos querido organizar durante mucho tiempo, y por fin ha llegado! Portugal alberga una increíble diversidad de climas, variedades de uva y estilos únicos de vinos. Nos encanta todo: desde los blancos de acidez alta de Vinho Verde, los tintos aromáticos y herbales del Dao, hasta los vinos fortificados de Madeira y Carcavelos.
